Welcome to the sixtieth edition of the Financial Post Directory of Directors.
First published in 1931 as a biennial publication called The Directory of Canadian Directors and Officials, the directory, now published annually each fall, presents an up-to-date list of Canadian businessmen and women showing the directorships and offices they hold. It also includes a list of key Canadian companies, both publicly traded and privately-owned, with their addresses and the names of their executive officers and directors.
Inclusion in the Directory of Directors involves no obligation of any kind. No one may pay for a listing. All listings are selected at the discretion of the editors.
Criteria for inclusion of companies in this book include: incorporation in Canada, substantial revenue or assets, and Canadian residency for the majority of the directors. Once a company qualifies for inclusion, its officers and directors automatically qualify for a personal listing in the first section.
Data for this book was collected and updated from April 1 to August 11, 2006. Data contained in this book is also available online and on a CD.
