SafetyWorld Launches Customer Focused Website

September 19, 2008 Toronto, OntarioSafetyWorld, division of Owen Media Partners (OMP), North America’s second largest Business to Business network, announced today the re-launch of its website http://www.safetyworld.com.

Aimed at offering customers easier and more direct access to all SafetyWorld's safety awareness products, SafetyWorld's website has been re-launched with a vibrant new look, new content, significant layout updates with improved usability and navigation.

Commenting on the re-launch of the website, Rob Dunford, senior VP of OMP, said: “We are delighted with the new website. With rising numbers of SafetyWorld products, an easy-to-navigate website is crucial and we’ve accomplished this goal. Our new website brings our customers a full list of SafetyWorld products with comprehensive information.”

Safety awareness products lower the costs of work-related injuries. SafetyWorld’s priority is to help customers minimize these costs. “SafetyWorld’s new website helps customers to make better-informed decisions on safety awareness products they need to efficiently avoid preventable work injuries,” added Mr. Dunford.

There are 5 key new features of the new website:

  • The site is organized by “Safety Topic” and “Industry” with optimized keyword search function to help search engine users find the information they need more easily.
  • The “Product” section displays and describes the key safety programs / products that SafetyWorld publishes: S*A*F*E program, Custom Program, Hospitality Playbook, Calendars and Newsletters.

    Available in French and Spanish, SafetyWorld products include safety posters, safety meeting outlines, employee safety cards/quiz cards and safety newsletters.

    The new website also features the latest safety awareness products including the SafetyWorld’s all time bestsellers - The Simpsons. SafetyWorld is the sole authorized publisher and distributor of the Simpsons safety products in North America.

  • The “Safety Newsletter” section introduces users to SafetyWorld’s 7 different newsletters products.
  • The “News Room” and “Testimonials” sections inform users what’s new at SafetyWorld and share with them the successful stories.
  • The “Buy Now/Request Sample” icon is set up throughout the site as the easy access for customers who’d like to try SafetyWorld’s free samples.
