We are pleased to present FP Survey – Industrials, a guide to all industrial companies publicly traded and reporting in Canada. Our listings cover companies involved in manufacturing, real estate development, forestry, investment holding, and financial management, as well as communications, transportation, banking, retailing, and other service industries. Also listed are those companies, which provide service to these areas as well as investment trusts whose operating activities are in these areas.
First established in 1927, FP Survey – Industrials continues to address the very real needs of the private and corporate investor for a comprehensive securities manual. We provide an overview of investment opportunities: companies’ key properties, owned or optioned, their management and ownership, their financial position, and highlights of events affecting the companies over the past year. Together with its companion publication, FP Survey – Mines and Energy, this book provides a wealth of information for both investment decisions and general interest purposes. |

To assist with comparative analysis in and between industries we include, the Top Ten by Industry section, containing key financial ratios for the top companies in each of twenty-four Industry Groups under the Global Industry Classification Standard (GICS).
